The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA):

        The Parent-Teacher Association believes that family involvement is an integral part of Eastwood Elementary Magnet School's environmental science program.  The PTA continues to provide students and staff with support and resources to enhance student achievement through family activities, cultural programs, and fund-raisers.  A combination of parent, staff, and community involvement at Eastwood Elementary Magnet School has resulted in a family like atmosphere.

PTA Goals:

  • To Strengthen communication between parents, the organization, staff, students, and the community.
  • To support and enhance academic programs for the students in partnership with staff, community, and   the  PTA.
  • To continue to provide programs that support a healthy and safe environment for the students, staff, parents, and community.
  • To provide programs that foster school spirit, and link school, family, and the community.
  • To provide a safe, warm, and inviting atmosphere for all of the Eastwood students, staff, and families.
  • To provide, maintain, and enhance volunteer opportunities for families to encourage continued active parental participation in their children's education.

All Members are welcome to join us!!

Our meetings are generally held on the first Monday of the month, in the Eastwood Library.
